Make your own Washi Paper & have a walking tour in Tokyo
This 4 hr walking tour includes 2 hr traditional Washi making experience at "watashino" handmade Japanese paper shop. Washi paper is made by different materials from the western paper. Before your Washi making experience, you will go on a walking tour with our licensed guide!

Start time: The estimated time for the experience will be about 4 hours from the start of the tour.

You can customize your tour directly with the guide after placing your reservation. Please craft your itinerary by choosing 2 to 3 spots on the ‘what to expect’ or ‘itinerary’ list.

Note*1: Only ages 4 yr & above can join the Traditional Washi Papermaking experience.
Note*2: Washi experience is a group session. You may be in a group with other customers. Walking tour is a private.
Note*3: You will make 4 postcard-sized washi with colors.
Note*4: Experience time may vary depending on the number of participants.

      • This private tour is a walking day tour. A private vehicle is not included. Public transportation or local taxis maybe used to transfer between sites. Exact transportation costs can be discussed with the guide after a reservation is finalized. Please have Japanese Yen on hand for your transportation costs.
